LaLota Joins Bipartisan Climate Solutions Caucus
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, New York First Congressional District Representative Nick LaLota (R-Suffolk County) announced his membership in the Bipartisan Climate Solutions Caucus. The Caucus, which is kept evenly divided between Republicans and Democrats, serves as a working group dedicated to advancing proposals which will mitigate and reduce pollution while at the same time encouraging economic growth and job creation.
“We need to work in a serious and bipartisan manner to tackle pollution and mitigate mankind’s negative effect on our environment. I joined the bipartisan Climate Solutions Caucus to do just that,” said LaLota. “I look forward to working with my colleagues in the caucus to come up with new ideas to improve our planet for future generations.”
