“I am thrilled to announce my subcommittee appointments for the Armed Services Committee,” said LaLota. “As a Navy man, I look forward to serving on the Tactical Air and Land Forces Subcommittee, advocating for our men and women in uniform, ensuring they have the resources they need to be the best fighting force in the world. I am also excited to serve on the Cyber Subcommittee, which allows me to provide input into the emerging and important space of cybersecurity. I’ve always said that being a Naval Officer was the best job in the world and I plan to bring my experience and knowledge to these subcommittees and the greater committee.”
“Congratulations to Congressman LaLota on his appointment to the Tactical Air and Land Forces Subcommittee for the 118th Congress. This Congress, we are going to hit the ground running on leading the effort to balance the demands of our immediate threats with the modernization efforts required for the United States to prevail in this era of long-term Great Power Competition,” said Rep. Rob Wittman (VA-01), Chairman of the Tactical Air and Land Forces Subcommittee. “This year, our subcommittee will focus on replenishing our munitions stockpiles, managing our fighter force structure, and more; we’ll benefit from Congressman LaLota’s contributions to these efforts. I am confident that we will remain a strong, bipartisan committee, willing to take on the challenges and threats the United States continues to face. I look forward to serving with Congressman LaLota on both the full committee and on the Tactical Air and Land Forces Subcommittee, and I am eager to get to work.”
“I'm thrilled to have Congressman LaLota on the CITI subcommittee, where his unique expertise as a Navy veteran will help us keep the country safe by enhancing DoD's ‘defend forward’ posture in cyber,” said Rep.
