LaLota Slams Secretary Mayorkas for Endangering the American People

January 18, 2024

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Rep. Nick LaLota (R-Suffolk County) spoke and questioned witnesses(link is external) at a Homeland Security Committee hearing titled “Voices for the Victims: The Heartbreaking Reality of the Mayorkas Border Crisis(link is external)”.

“Last week’s hearing gave a face to the simultaneous border, national security, and fentanyl crises our nation is facing. The Administration has absolutely no idea how many people or illicit narcotics are entering this nation and have put American families in harm’s way,” said LaLota. “These families are victims of the Administration’s failures and Secretary Mayorkas must be held accountable and be removed from office.”
